Beginning Classes:

Beginner's classes will cover the traditional Egyptian style Balady steps including shimmies and hip work for drum solos. Each class will include warm-up with isolations, a different Balady step and a cool down period. Some written notes will be provided. Please wear comfortable, loose clothing which can include: leotards, tank tops, shorts, or broom skirt. It's always fun to have a scarf or something to wear around your hips. I dance barefoot, but some students like to wear soft low heeled shoes similar to ballet slippers. Please call each site for prices and directions.

Intermediate Class:

Intermediate students are required to obtain zils (finger cymbals)and veil. Combinations as well as a choreographed routine will be taught. Please wear comfortable, loose clothing to class. Contact: Aziza Fadwa with any questions.
